The town of Anse-à-Pitres has one paved road, if you walk along it you reach the ocean. As soon as the sun sets this street comes to life with music, food stalls and people sitting on plastic chairs. No light in the main street, nor in the rest of the village, also no running water or sewerage system. Cars are a rare view, most people transport by foot or motorbikes.

10 minutes walk from the main street and you are at the border with the Dominican Republic, another 10 minutes and you reach a city called Pedernales, where electricity, running water, cars and even WiFi can be found.

20 minutes walk is what it takes to create a different life.
